With the rapid development of the Bitcoin community more and more ventures that accept Bitcoins come to light. This time we will have a look at Galt’s Gulch Chile, an extraordinary community of scientists, inventors, entrepreneurs and other Bitcoin enthusiasts in the heart of Chile, who have found a way to escape “the over-regulated, over-taxed, war-riddled and welfare-riddled society consuming the world”.

The idea of creating such a community came from Ayn Rand, an American novelist, philosopher, playwright, and screenwriter, whose famous protagonist character, John Galt, decided to stop supporting the corrupt society and found redemption in a place “where they found their freedom, success and peace of mind”. This idea closely intertwines with Bitcoin’s essence.

Galt’s Gulch Chile is a fully sustainable and self-sufficient community with unlimited access to fresh water, clean renewable energy, organic fishery and non-GMO agriculture as well as perfect all-year-around weather. With access to untouched nature, astonishing recreational possibilities (hiking, cycling, mountain climbing horse riding, camping) and developed infrastructure (Spa and fitness center, community clubhouse, restaurants, tennis courts, swimming pools, vineyards, shooting range, etc.), this is a slice of heaven operating on Bitcoins, the revolutionary decentralized cryptocurrency that provides transparency, independence and freedom for everyone involved.

Galt’s Gulch Chile includes a healthcare facilities, dental services, child and adult educational institutions, engineering, environmental, agricultural and business entities such as Agora Community Enter that allow the community dwellers to exchange experience, skills and knowledge in innovation and cooperation to provide sustainable goods and services that will improve the life of the community and the world as a whole.

Many of you would be curious why the founders of this community decided to settle in Chile. Despite the global financial and economic recession that we have been struggling with in the last decades, Chile has managed to maintain and preserve stability, transparency, competitiveness, innovation and excellence in launching progressive business projects for numerous foreign investments. According to the Heritage Foundation Freedom Index, Chile takes up the 7th place and continues to develop to achieve higher ranking. The Foundation’s index of 2013 states that Chile ranks 79 in as one of the freest economics in the world. Among the Latin American states Chile is the leader in human development, income per capita, globalization, state of peace, economic freedom and low corruption rate making it the strongest and the most flourishing country on the continent.

There are possibilities for two types of investment within Galt’s Gulch Chile: residential lots and organic farm. Investors can either purchase a Master Estate of 1,200+ acres at the price of $500,000 or Founders Club Estate of 25 acres for $125,000. The first lot with the best view of the whole valley can be obtained for fiat currency (70% of the total cost) and Bitcoins (up to 30%). The second option can be bought with fiat currency (80% of the total cost) and Bitcoins (20%). Many of the buyers have paid for their lots in Bitcoins, and in general, cryptocurrencies are well accepted and encouraged as a payment method within this community.

When it comes to GGC farm, they are divided into seven parcels of land — two larger parcels 50 hectares in total are used for organic farming and five other lots, 10 hectares each, are used for lemon orchards with approximately 35 acres of lemon trees, 2,500 avocado trees and other fruits, vegetables, nuts, spices and herbs. The GGC farm is currently undergoing organic certification and continues to strengthen contacts with various local and international exporters as well as increase sales. The GGC farm is looking for more investors to continue growing through advancing sustainable farming capabilities.

Everybody is welcome to visit the premises and will be warmly greeted and showed around. The project is still in the phase of development. For more information, please visit http://galtsgulchchile.com.
