Payment Details on CEX.IO

, February 14, 2018

Making everything to improve our platform and the experience of our users with CEX.IO, we would like to introduce a tool for convenient tracking of your payments. From now on, you will be able to find the relevant information about the status of your payment in a single place.

Where to Get the Information?

The table is located in the Finance section, between the Transactions and Archived orders tabs.

The data in the table is continuously renewed automatically, so you will always be aware of the most recent payment status.

Navigating the Table

For your convenience, all the reflected information can be sorted by the date of creation and the time when the payment was last updated.

You can also use the following filters (description is related to the number on the image):

    1. Choose a particular time for the reflected deposits/withdrawals, e.g. the period from December 3, 2017, to January 15, 2018.
    2. Choose a specific payment category:
      • deposits;
      • withdrawals;
      • both.
    3. Track the payments depending on a specific currency, e.g. USD, EUR, BTC, ETH, XRP.
    4. Look for the deposits/withdrawals involving a particular payment instrument, including:
      • Wire transfer;
      • CryptoCapital;
      • Payment card;
      • Crypto;
      • Ledger;
      • SEPA.
    5. Sort the payments according to their statuses:
      • Pending;
      • Payment Verification;
      • Rejected;
      • Rebooked;
      • On Balance;
      • Unable to process;
      • Mismatch;
      • Sent;
      • Returned.

Payments Statuses

Our internal system automatically tracks payments from the moment they were initiated until the moment the funds are sent or reflected on the balance. The signals from the system will be translated in the status of the withdrawal/deposit on the screen. The table is constantly updated, and you will always receive the most recent data to know what is actually happening to your money.

Statuses and Their Meanings

Please check the statuses and their meanings in the table below:

Status What is happening to my payment?
Pending
  • we are awaiting the necessary number of confirmations to complete the transaction;
  • our Finance department is processing the payment.
Payment verification
  • we are checking the details of deposit/withdrawal;
  • payment is under review by the Compliance Team.
Rejected The funds could not have been accepted due to the External payment processor or the rejection of Finance Officer. The funds will be turned back.
On Balance Transfer was approved, and you can check the funds on your balance.
Rebooked The received amount does not correspond to the claimed one. The sum was adjusted according to the funds that arrived.
Unable to process The payment cannot be processed. There are insufficient funds or payment limits.
Sent We have successfully sent the funds. It may still take some time for them to reach the destination.
Returned Transaction was returned, but the fees were already deducted.

We hope that the above table will make tracking your payments easier, and depositing/withdrawing money will become more transparent. Use it to your advantage!
