CEX.IO Launches DASH Trading

, September 18, 2017

We are excited to announce the launch of DASH trading on CEX.IO. For now, the market consists of several trading pairs, namely:

  • DASH/BTC
  • DASH/USD
  • DASH/EUR
  • DASH/GBP

Dash is a relatively old cryptocurrency created back in 2014. Dash is a short form of the “Digital Cash”, which is considered to be meaning behind this P2P cryptocurrency. Dash claims to have the core features of Bitcoin together with some advantageous extensions, such as instant and private transactions, and decentralized governance. At the moment of writing, DASH price is about $316. The coin’s market capitalization is over $2.4 billion, which gives it the 6th place among other currencies. We coincide the addition of this coin to CEX.IO with The Dash Conference that will take place in London, UK, on September, 24th.

The launch of DASH trading is just the first step of extending CEX.IO markets. We are planning to add more altcoins to the exchange in the nearest time. You can vote for the altcoins in the Feature Requests section of our Help Centre.
